Dr. Baldelli grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with an emphasis and background in education. Dr. Baldelli then went on to complete medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and received special recognition from his faculty and peers for his ability to provide compassionate and humanistic patient care.

Dr. Baldelli returned to his home state of North Carolina to complete his training in Internal Medicine, and went on to complete fellowship in Gastroenterology as well as advanced fellowship training in transplant hepatology, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Baldelli practices general gastroenterology and specializes in the treatment of digestive disorders. He also has special interest in caring for patients with advanced liver diseases. He performs upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and capsule endoscopy. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Association of the Study of Liver Diseases.

When not at work, Dr. Baldelli enjoys spending time with his wife and family. Together they enjoy hiking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors.
