Endoscopy Center of North Carolina

The Endoscopy Center (TEC) provides ambulatory outpatient surgical services to the patients of Asheville Gastroenterology Associates. Our mission has been and will always be to provide high quality, cost effective endoscopic care for patients with gastrointestinal problems or those who seek preventive care for such conditions as colon or esophageal cancer. TEC is attached to the main office of Asheville Gastroenterology Associates.

This convenient outpatient facility lets us perform many endoscopic procedures at our office with the assistance of our caring and professional staff. TEC offers the most advanced endoscopic and patient monitoring equipment as well as staff comprised of nurses and assistants that are highly trained and experienced in procedural care. TEC is committed not only to excellence in the delivery of endoscopic care but also to patient safety and satisfaction.

The Endoscopy Center is licensed by the State of North Carolina and is an approved Medicare facility. It is accredited with commendation by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and received a score of 99% ( only received by < 15% of similar centers nationally). Most recently the center received the highest term of accreditation awarded by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
